1.3 Photos and Media

If you grant permission, the app may access your photo library to allow you to add images to your flash cards. We only access photos that you explicitly select within the app. We do not access your entire photo library or any photos you do not choose to use.

• Enable iCloud synchronization across your devices

3. Data Storage and Synchronization

3.1 Local Storage

Your flash cards and study data are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data remains on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud synchronization.

3.2 iCloud Synchronization

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is securely synchronized across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This synchronization:

• Is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions
• Requires you to be signed in to iCloud on your devices
• Can be disabled at any time through your device settings

Important: When you use iCloud sync, your data is stored on Apple's servers. We do not have direct access to this data, and it is managed according to Apple's privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Apple Services: When you use iCloud sync, your data is processed by Apple's CloudKit service in accordance with Apple's privacy policies
• In-App Purchases: Purchase transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We receive only confirmation of purchase status, not your payment information
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety

8. Children's Privacy

StudyFlow Flash Cards is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

9. Premium Features

Our app offers premium features through in-app purchases. When you make a purchase:

• Payment is processed securely through Apple's StoreKit
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• Purchase status is verified through Apple's secure systems
• You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings

10. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you use the app. If you delete the app, your local data will be removed. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you may need to delete your data from iCloud separately through your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

If you are using the app from outside the United States, please note that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not sell personal information and process data primarily on-device or through Apple's services, many CCPA provisions may not apply. However, you still have the right to:
